The SandGrabber Will Keep Your Umbrella Safe!
The SandGrabber is a Serious Safety Tool with solid patented
engineering. It's not a toy or gimmick like its competitors that only work in light winds -- but I personally tested it on the windiest day at the beach and found it really held umbrellas in place in winds of 30 MPH! This product is safe and assures you the umbrella won't fly out and possibly cause injury to another person.
The company, Bee Tee Incorporated. has tested The SandGrabber against some of it’s competition, and The SandGrabber clearly outperforms everyone tested. It works simply and quickly:
1) Twist The SandGrabber into the sand until the sand is just below the thumbscrew.
2) Place the umbrella pole into The SandGrabber.
3) Tighten the thumbscrew.
It's that easy and, this product works so well that the New Jersey Institute of Technology honored Bee Tee for inventing this product with its prestigious 'special award.'
For more information, contact Bee Tee Incorporated at P.O. Box 1616 s Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087; 609-296-6660 or check web site www.beetee.biz

SIGG Water Bottles
No doubt you get quite thirsty during practice. The good news is that there is no need to spend money on buying single use water bottles at the supermarket -- when you can simply fill your own bottle with water from your sink and take it with you everywhere. And, you'll be saving the environment, too, when you use a SIGG water bottle over and over again for years to come.
If you recall, the headlines in 2007 headlines read: Disposable plastic water bottles are bad news. Diseases grow in them, landfills are full of them, and people just don’t recycle them. Single use, disposable water bottles (PET plastic) create millions of tons of unnecessary waste each year. According to the Container Recycling Institute, less than 15% of plastic water bottles used in the U.S. are actually recycled. Over 100 million plastic bottles wind up in landfills every day- and they take up to 1,000 years each to biodegrade!
SIGG bottles are designed to be reusable and are 100 percent recyclable at the end of their very long lives. Besides reducing the demand for petroleum-based PET bottles, SIGG is a proud member of 1% For The Planet, donating 1% of all sales to helping to preserve our environment.
Each SIGG bottle is designed and manufactured in Switzerland from a single piece of pure aluminum, perfectly extruded for uniform, seamless construction. The proprietary SIGG bottle lining is a water-based, non-toxic coating that is baked into the interior walls and remains flexible and crack resistant for the life of the bottle. This special lining is taste neutral and resistant to fruit acids and energy drinks, ensuring that your drinks taste like they are supposed to taste every time! SIGG bottles exceed FDA requirements for safety and have been independently tested to prove 0% leaching. SIGGs are an alternative to hard plastic containers which studies show may leach harmful BPA.
These lightweight, leak proof bottles are perfect for everyday use while the high-precision Swiss craftsmanship makes them durable enough for the most extreme adventures. SIGG bottles are beautifully designed, portable works of art that are a perfect blend of function and fashion. In fact, SIGGs can be found on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. New, fashionable styles are introduced each year with over a hundred unique styles. SIGG bottles come in several different sizes, in a rainbow of colors and designs with 3 unique interchangeable tops.
SIGG bottles come in a variety of sizes and designs and retail for $16.99 - $24.99.
For further information or to purchase a SIGG go to www.mysigg.com. SIGG is also available at camping, sporting goods stores, REI, amazon.com, and more.

BOWS/BROADHEADS
RAGE
Rage Broadheads
Heavyweight Rage Hits the Market©-Rage Introduces The New 125-Grain 2-Blade
In response to continual customer requests, Rage Broadheads has announced the production of its new heavyweight 125-grain 2-blade broadhead. With the same two-inch cutting diameter as the popular 100-grain Rage, this new broadhead offers more weight in the ferrule for inflicting maximum damage and penetration.
The revolutionary SlipCam rear blade deployment system on the 125-grain Rage broadhead offers fully deployed blades immediately upon impact, with no loss of kinetic energy. This results in creating huge entry holes, gaping wound channels and unprecedented blood trails. Rage is not only the most humane broadhead on the market; it is also the most forgiving and now it is available in 125-grain 2-blade design.
For those wanting a heavier broadhead with the unprecedented success of the Rage design, the 125-grain 2-blade will be available at retailers nationwide in January. The 125-grain Rage has a black ferrule and the practice head is silver. It sells in packs of three broadheads with a free practice head for $44.99.
The Rage is available in 100-grain in either a 2-Blade design, with either the new 1.5-inch or the giant 2-inch cutting diameter, or a 3-Blade design, with a 1.5-inch cutting diameter. For an in-depth look at the Rage and the revolutionary, patented designs, check out the interactive website www.ragebroadheads.com. Be sure to spend some time looking at the high-speed video footage comparing the impacts of fixed, traditional expandables, and the Rage Broadheads. Rage Broadheads is headquartered at 101 Main Street, Superior, WI 54880; (715) 395-9955.
Rage Broadheads--What You Won't See on TV
Rage broadheads have built their reputation on creating huge entry holes, gaping wound channels and unprecedented blood trails. It is not only the most humane broadhead on the market; it is also the most forgiving. While the Rage broadhead is devastingly effective, it is also extremely graphic in its results; often deemed too graphic for television network broadcast. That's why Rage has produced an uncensored version of its new commercial and posted it to the Rage website at www.ragebroadheads.com. In addition, there is a 13-minute video montage containing kill shots, blood trails, and examinations from national television shows that were prohibited from airing by network executives. Be warned; this video is not for the squeamish or the faint of heart.
To truly appreciate the impact and results of these broadheads it is often necessary to see to believe either first hand or on video. While the uncensored footage on the Rage website was found to be too graphic for broadcast, these are exactly the kind of shots that you‚ll want to make in the field to 'put 'em down.'
All of these devastating shots were due to the proprietary rear-deploying SlipCam blades that are fully deployed the instant they make impact, and it all happens with no loss of kinetic energy. The exclusive Shocklock˙ System holds each blade in place without the need for rubber bands. Simply push the blades into place, and they automatically lock down.
The RageTM is available in 100-grain in either a 2-Blade design, with either the new 1.5-inch or the giant 2-inch cutting diameter, or a 3-Blade design, with a 1.5-inch cutting diameter. All models retail for $44.99 for a package of three with a practice head. For an in-depth look at the RageTM and the revolutionary, patented designs, check out the interactive website www.ragebroadheads.com. Be sure to spend some time looking at the high-speed video footage comparing the impacts of fixed, traditional expandables, and the RageTM broadheads.

That's because Rage broadheads offer the proprietary rear-deploying SlipCam blade technology that presents fully deployed blades on impact with no loss of kinetic energy. In storage and in flight, the exclusive Shocklock˙ System holds each blade in place without the need for rubber bands. Simply push the blades into place, and they will automatically lock down. With 1.5- and 2-inch cutting diameters, the Rage broadheads hyperextend at impact to produce giant entry holes and devastating wound channels. All of this adds up to awesome blood trails and quicker recovery of game, even on shots that are less than perfect.
'And now, you can see what everybody is talking about for yourself. Using high-speed photography, Rage has produced several videos showcasing the unique blade-deployment operation and deep, wide cutting path. All Rage broadheads offer the proprietary rear-deploying SlipCam that are fully deployed by the time the blades make impact with no loss of kinetic energy. The exclusive Shocklock˙ System holds each blade in place without the need for rubber bands. Simply push the blades into place and they will automatically 'lock' down.
The popularity of the Rage broadheads made them nearly impossible to find a year ago, however, the Company has taken the steps necessary to accommodate the high demand. Think big this bow season. Big entry wound. Big exit wound. Big blood trail. Big animal! THINK RAGE, and get your game!
The RageTM is available in 100-grain in either a 2-Blade design with either the new 1.5‰ or the giant 2‰ cutting diameter or 3-Blade design with a 1.5‰ cutting diameter. All models retail for $44.99 for a package of three with a practice head.

New Packaging for the Rage
The most popular mechanical broadhead on the market, The Rage, is sporting new packaging that better showcases the unique broadheads for both the 2-blade and 3-blade heads.
'Our new packaging achieves several objectives,' said Larry Pulkrabek, president of Field Logic, parent company of The Rage. 'It is bold, distinctive and designed to stand out on the store shelf. Additionally, the new packaging is easier to handle, shows the unique features of the Rage and provides an overall better presentation among the competition.'
The RageTM line of expandable broadheads is based on revolutionary new designs like the patented SlipCamTM Rear Blade Deployment System and the exclusive ShockLockTM System. Unlike conventional 'over the top' or 'jack-knife' expandables, The RageTM broadhead positions each blade with the cutting edge outward. Therefore, as the broadhead hits the target the blades are pushed back into the ferrule where they cam out into a fully open position. Also, there are no rubber bands needed to hold the blades in position. The ShockLockTM System holds the blades in place with an O-ring on the base of the head. Simply push the blade into place and the O-ring automatically locks the blades into the shooting position. The O-ring also doubles as a shock absorber for the blades. If the blades hit bone, the O-ring absorbs the impact.
'A free practice head is included in every pack of Rage heads. The practice head flies exactly like a field tip of the Rage broadhead. A critical step in tuning your hunting bow is to make sure the broadheads you are using fly true. You can ensure that your bow is in tune and save your hunting broadheads for hunting conditions, while providing confidence in your equipment. As bows have gotten faster, broadheads have been getting smaller. This is in part due to the fact hunters are having problems getting their broadheads to fly true. The RageTM flies like a field point and offers two different blade designs, a two-blade 2-inch cutting diameter and a three-blade 1-1/2 inch-cutting diameter. This new patented design gives the bowhunter the best of both worlds: the accuracy of a field point and more efficiency than a fixed blade from even the most unforgiving, fast, high performance bow.
For an in-depth look at The RageTM and the revolutionary new patented designs, check out the new interactive web site www.ragebroadheads.com Be sure to spend some time looking at the High Speed Footage comparing the impacts of fixed, traditional expandables, and both models of RageTM.For more information about The RageTM, please write: The Rage, 101 Main Street, Superior, Wisconsin 54880, or call 1-715-395-0020.

HUNTING TIPS
GETTING FIT Tips by Jerry Martin is co-host of 100% Real Hunting on Versus Network®
Archers should take a lesson from such other athletes as golfers and skiers who count on a pro or expert to help fit them to their gear. Someone who is just getting
into bowhunting, needs to go to a pro shop or club or find an expert friend, to make sure they get a bow fitted to them properly with the right draw length, and a poundage they can pull easily. I see a lot of people at the range and their bow just doesn’t fit them. They’re overstretching or understretching which hinders their shooting ability. After you have been fitted properly, record the measurements that are right for you. Once you get fitted properly, you can buy your next bow at the same draw length and weight, and know it will fit right. For more tips, log onto

Bow Hunting Turkeys With Rick White And Phillip Vanderpool Of Hunter’s Specialties®
Bow hunting for turkeys has become more popular, with hunters looking for more challenging and exciting ways to take a gobbler. Rick White and Phillip Vanderpool of the Hunter’s Specialties Pro Staff recently offered the following tips for getting started.
Rick: “It takes more movement to draw your bow, so you have to be well hidden. A turkey has great eyesight.”
Phillip: “I like to hunt from a blind, like Hunter’s Specialties 10-10 Hideout Pop-Up model. If I don’t have a blind, I try to build one to break up my silhouette, or stay in the shadows.”
Rick: “If you are hunting from a blind, keep the windows closed behind you or to the side so the light can’t shine in and turkeys can see you.”
Phillip: “Use a decoy to increase your odds. I like the Hazel Creek decoys because they are actual mounted hens and jakes. The gobblers can really tell the difference.”
Rick: “Place your jake decoy facing the blind. The gobbler will usually come in to face the jake, so his back is to you when you draw. I put my decoys closer to the blind than I would if I were shotgun hunting, usually five steps.”
Phillip: “I like to shoot expandable broadheads with 1 ?” cutting diameter or bigger. I always back the poundage down on my bow so I can hold at full draw longer if I have to. A turkey has a small vital area and you may have to wait for a good shot angle. I try to aim just above where the thigh joins the body cavity.”
Rick: “I agree that arrow placement is very important. The shot just above the leg is a good one, as well as a shot with the bird facing directly away from you. If the bird is in full strut, aim just above the base of the tail. I shoot most of my turkeys at 10 yards or less, so it is easier to make a good shot. Give the bird a few minutes to expire before you go to him. If you happen to break a wing, it is best to go after him right away. Be sure and use caution when picking up your bird because it may still have a broadhead in it.”
LASER SIGHTS
Crimson Trace Introduces Archery Laser Sight: The LG-653
Crimson Trace Corporation, manufacturer of Lasergrips® firearms laser sights, today announced the introduction of the company’s first product for the archery market: the LG-653 for BowTech® and Diamond Archery® bows. This innovative new design extends company’s grip-integrated, instinctively-activated laser sight technology to a completely new customer segment. The LG-653 is being distributed exclusively through BowTech and Diamond Archery. MSRP is $299.
The LG-653 replaces the existing grip panels on selected BowTech, Diamond Archery and OEM bow models. A pressure-sensitive switch on the back of the grip instinctively activates the laser when the bow is drawn, and then turns off the laser when the arrow is released or the bow is returned to the ready position. Precise windage and elevation adjustments allow the user to sight the laser to exactly match a yardage pin at any distance.
Laser sights add an exciting new dimension to target shooting, hunting and training. As a training tool, nothing can match the real-time, visual feedback on grip torque, alignment, string release, and other issues affecting accuracy. Laser sights are legal for big-game and non-game hunting in many states, and can make the difference between taking a trophy or coming home empty-handed when the right animal shows during low-light shooting hours at dawn and dusk. (Consult individual state regulations.)
Crimson Trace is the leading manufacturer of laser sighting systems for small arms. Police, all branches of the U.S. Military, and responsible citizens worldwide use patented Lasergrips. Crimson Trace Lasergrips are recommended as an essential accessory by some of the world’s top firearm trainers.

SAFETY PRODUCTS
Aspirinpod -- Can Save A Life!
You're on the range. Suddenly, you feel terrible pain spreading across your chest. It may be a heart attack and, heart attacks can kill. The Aspirinpod could make all the difference and save your - or someone else's life should they feel sudden pain coming on. How? it's a fact that chewing aspirin at the first sign of a heart attack can significantly improve the chances for survival, and the FDA reports that taking aspirin immediately when heart attack symptoms occur not only saves lives, but can also decrease heart damage. Studies show that chewing one uncoated 325 mg or four uncoated 81 mg aspirin immediately when heart attack symptoms first occur can increase your chances of survival.
New products are always coming out, but when I saw the Aspirinpod, I knew, immediately, that this product was not only unique, but a 'must have' for every member of my family and for friends as well.
The Aspirinpod is a red plastic tiny heart-shaped tiny container that holds one or two aspirin. It comes with a key chain that it can easily be placed in your glovebox, gym bag, bicycle, tool kit, handbag, yoga gear, ski jacket, golf bag, lunch box, bedside, tackle box, hunting vest, and dozens of other places. In less than a second, the container can be opened, the aspirin inside chewed, and together with calling 911, can save your life or that of a loved one. I placed one on my key ring so it will always be available.
Note: Do not take aspirin if allergic and ask your physician if aspirin is appropriate for you.
Aspirinpod can be purchased at drug stores, sporting goods stores, or is available by checking web site www.aspirinpod.com.

SCHOOL PROGRAMS
National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP)
Recent surveys commissioned by the Archery Trade Association to review the National Archery in the Schools Program found that NASP makes a lasting impression on students, inspiring many of them to pursue the sport and improve their views of school and physical education.
After Kentucky launched the two-week introductory program three years ago, NASP rapidly spread nationwide as educators folded it into their physical-education curriculum for grades 4 through 12. The course teaches students the basics o target archery, while introducing them to archery's history and its equipment. By early 2005, the program was part of the physical education curriculum in 260 Kentucky schools, roughly 20 percent of the state's school system. And in March 2005, Florida became the 24th state to launch NASP, with Mississippi expecting to become the 25th in May 2005. The program's director, Roy Grimes of the Kentucky DFWR, is optimistic NASP will soon be in all 50 states.

Phillip: “Bow hunting turkeys is very rewarding when you have a successful hunt. I hope everyone gets to give it a try this spring.”

STORAGE FOR BOWS
Gun Grabber
The Gun Grabber's New Safe Storage for Bows
Gun Grabber, the maker of the vertical gun holder, has created a product that is ideal for the avid BOW hunter as well. The Gun Grabber was specifically designed to properly and safely store long guns. The shotgun/bow model of the Gun Grabber provides an easy, unique, and safe way to store your bow, both in the field and at your home. This patented product was designed to provide a secure hold on the bow while not harming the finish of the bow.
Constructed from injection molded nylon and injection molded TPE or thermoplastic elastomer, the Gun Grabber provides a durable product with a solid grip, that allows for the quick and easy removal of the bow when the moment of truth is upon you. This product can be used in treestands and is ideal to use at home in the closet, or at hunting camp to help protect and keep your bow safe.
Initially designed as a safety storage device for shotguns by owner and inventor Rob Scott, he has realized the versatility of his invention for other hunting products like the bow. 'Bowhunters run into the same storage and safety issues that shotgunners and rifle hunters do. That is why we made a Gun Grabber that was adaptable to the bow. This product keeps the bow safely and conveniently handy for the bow hunter while in the field and helps to protect the bow while not in use.'
Gun Grabber is available in rifle or shotgun/ bow models and retails for $24.95.
It is available at sporting goods stores nationwide or conveniently online at www.gungrab.com.
The Gun Grabber is compatible with most bows, with the exception of parallel limb bows, however, due to the vast differences in bow construction, bows should be tested at ground level during daylight hours to determine the best way to mount the Gun Grabber. The bracket should be mounted at an approximate 45ßê angle to grip the bow limb. The Gun Grabber will also hold bows between the top bow limb and the cables and strings.
For more information on the Gun Grabber write to PO Box 888 Magnolia, AR 71754, call toll-free 1.877.486.4722, or visit web site www.gungrab.com

Rage
The New Ghost Quiver Is All The Rage
The surprise introduction of the extremely lightweight, ultra-low-profile, multi-positional GHOST Quiver at the Archery Trade Association Show created a reaction quite the opposite of the silence it promises to bring to the hunting woods. The show was buzzing with talk of the slick new quiver and its deadly quiet Coffin Lock design. Specifically designed to securely hold five Rage-broadhead-tipped arrows, the GHOST is the first purpose-designed quiver to provide the ultimate piece of mind for the ever-growing expandable-broadhead-shooting crowd.
The GHOST Quiver features a faceted skeletal hood and transparent windows for easy viewing of your broadheads. There's no foam to interfere with your broadheads or trap blade-ruining moisture in this design. Rather, a 2-mm thick aliphatic urethane rubberized interior secures the broadhead tips, keeping the blades sharp and locked at all times. MuffleGrip over-molding on the hood and dual shaft grippers silence sound and deaden vibration, while holding arrow shafts firmly in place and allowing simple and quiet arrow removal.
When mounted, the ultra-low-profile GHOST Quiver adds no more than 2 inches to the width of your bow, providing for easier maneuverability in the woods. Branches and brush stand very little chance of hanging up on the GHOST as you move to and around in your stand. And tipping the scales at a mere 9 ounces, the GHOST is barely noticeable attached to your bow, minimizing its affect on balance.
The new proprietary Coffin Lock cam system securely locks the quiver in place by way of an ingenious coffin-shaped taper on the dovetailed interlock. The genius of this design is that it allows users to safely, quickly and intuitively remove or attach the GHOST Quiver, even in complete darkness. To ensure that this quiver fits everyone‚s ideal needs, the GHOST is ambidextrous and offers multi-positional mounting, allowing archers to customize the quiver alignment˜up or down, fore or aft, canted or vertical˜to best fit their individual preferences.
The Ghost Quiver is Rage-tested and Rage-approved, and it will be available at retailers this spring for $99.99.

Field Logic Inc's Block 4x4 Continues to Set the Standard in Archery Targets
Since the Company's initial introduction of layered foam targets in 1997, The Block® target has been a favorite target of serious archery enthusiasts around the world. The Block 4x4˙ continues the tradition of providing increased usability in a high quality target. The revolutionary Layer Trap˙ technology used in the Block 4x4 target provides archery shooters with all of the advantages of an open layered with the addition of four-sided shooting!

Field Logic, Inc. New Block Crossbow Target Available
It is safe to say that both the popularity in crossbow and its advancements over the past years have been significant. New materials, strings, sights and advanced designs have made the newer crossbows easier to use and more effective than ever. However, to hone in your skills during and off season, a specially designed target will maximize the targets life. Crossbow bolts penetrate with the same force as a traditional arrow, but due to the shorter length they will travel deeper into the target. Therefore, specially designed targets will insure long target life and maximum stopping power.
The Block is pleased to address this issue with its new Crossbow target, specially designed of orange high density foam to eliminate the issues associated with the penetration of crossbow arrows. This new Crossbow target measures 20"x20"x14" and weighs only 23 pounds.
Until now crossbow archers have had a difficult time with targets withstanding the impact of the crossbow bolt. The new Block Crossbow has been specially designed with a special extra-high density version of the patented Friction Foam that has made The Block the most popular archery target on the market. Arrow removal is easy with this new target ˆ simply twist or rock the bolt or arrow gently back and forth to break the bond that is formed with the Friction Foam. It is that easy.
The Block Crossbow is available at retailers nationwide and online at www.fieldlogic.com>www.fieldlogic.com. The suggested retail price of The Block Crossbow is $109.99.

Field Logic's Hurricane Bag Targets Stops Them Cold With The Crossbolt Stop Crossbow Discharge Target
Crossbow hunting has surged enormously in popularity as an ever-growing number of states have accepted crossbows as a legal and practical means of taking game. In response, Hurricane Bag Targets has introduced its new Crossbolt Stop to safely and effectively discharge the energy stored in a drawn crossbow after the hunt. This lightweight, portable 12x12x12 bag target is perfect to set up inconspicuously near a treestand to discharge the crossbow before climbing down. Likewise, it‚s an ideal means for still hunters to discharge a bolt before gear stowage in a vehicle.
With its new Tri-Core Technology and its high-contrast, hi-visibility Hurricane Eye aiming point, the Crossbolt Stop is unrivaled for its durability and performance. A heavy-duty handle on top makes carrying the Crossbolt Stop to your favorite treestand easy. With a pair of grommets securely fastened to the target‚s top, a hunter can easily attach it to a low hanging tree branch 20 or 30 yards from a stand˜well away from the game traffic lanes˜in order to safely discharge a crossbow before exiting an elevated stand after the hunt has ended.
Safety, being paramount in any hunting expedition, dictates that a hunter should not climb any object with a loaded weapon in tow, and crossbow hunting is no exception, especially considering the enormous amount of energy stored in your crossbow‚s limbs. Bringing Hurricane‚s new Crossbolt Stop into the field will help you discharge that energy in a safe and controlled manner.
With a suggested retail price $29.99, a crossbow hunter can‚t afford to hunt without the Crossbolt Stop. Check your favorite sporting goods store or go to web site www.fieldlogic.com; or www.hurricanebagtargets.com.
